A relationship without a solid foundation cannot and will not last very long.
The foundation of the relationship is what is built upon as the relationship continues, it is what will keep the two of you together through any storm in life and its ups and downs.

Any solid foundation needs to be trustworthy, dependable, reliable, secure, fortified, strong and supportive.

Relationship foundation building is not a one man show, if one builds while the other tears down or doesn't participate, this can not only take a life time to do, but cause a loss of motivation and can create feelings of regret, anger, irritability, frustration and/or hostility, not to mention all the insecurities that are sure to follow.
